Make no mistake, this is a cheap piece of crap, as I suspected when I saw how small the box was. The horizontal braces are not just small, they are absurdly short. This is a design flaw--how much more would it have cost to make the bars a couple inches longer to keep the machine from swaying with every step? That the cheap plastic frame was cracked didn't particularly bother me; more worrisome is that the steel is evidently of extremely poor quality. A bolt at least 7mm thick snapped right in half while I was tightening it. The only question now is whether it is worth the trouble to send back this piece of junk or somehow try to make use of it. I suppose I get some exercise by pulling the thing from side to side. You get what you pay for. I can't imagine what the cheaper version is like.
