I ordered this bike from Amazon and it arrived damaged. Although the damage is relatively minor (one of the end caps on the rear stabilizer bar was smashed), I went immediately to the Diamondback web site for customer support. There is no phone number for contact and the email support entry that I made was completely ignored. As stated by another customer, the warranty section of the manual very clearly states that purchasing this product via mail order VOIDS THE WARRANTY. Even the Amazon customer support representative was surprised to hear that.
Amazon did offer to replace the entire bike, which is a testament to the absolutely wonderful support that Amazon gives to their customers. Since the damage was minor and the rest of the bike seemed to be okay, I decided to keep it. I am giving the product a one star because the manufacturer apparently does not support their products AT ALL after the sale. This product is not recommended for purchase online from any vendor.
